Dwarf Fountain Grass, Pennisetum alopecuroides ‘Hameln’

This is a very compact, heavy-blooming fountain grass. It changes to a bronze color in the fall and remains fairly intact for the winter.
The plants were very full in their second year of growth, and this cultivar was #2 on the visitor survey of favorite grasses in 2008.
